In this week's just-circulated dead tree version of DC9, Jesse Hughey pretty much goes ga-ga over the latest release from Austin's ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, calling the just-released The Century of Self, "a powerful return to form, with several moments of greatness."
Hughey also talked to TOD's Jason Reece about the band's direct intention to bring itself back to its earlier Source Tags & Codes self with this record, which is certainly good news to anyone who has already bought tickets to the band's gig at the Granada tomorrow night.
But here's some good news for the lollygaggers: The fine folks at the Granada have been kind enough to hook up DC9 readers with three pairs fo tickets to tomorrow night's show. Want one of the pairs? OK, then: Shoot me an email with the words "...and you will put my name on the will call list" and, sure, we'll do just that. But only for the first three of you to email me. So have at it. And, sure, good luck too.
Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners.
