The singer from Butcher Hollow, Kentucky, has shouldered five decades of ups and downs and still gets on stage in a goddamn taffeta gown to belt her heart out. The Winspear Opera House is the perfect venue for such a to-do, and she'll no doubt run through a laundry list of tear-jerking hits and country favorites. 2004's Van Lear Rose was her last proper album, but who needs new material when "Don't Come Home A' Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind)" and "You Ain't Woman Enough (To Take My Man)" are still so relevant today?
