Modest Mouse is an elusive, upper-tier act that only releases material when it damn well pleases. At least that's what frontman Isaac Brock would have you believe. The music, though, is generally always well worth the wait.

But far less common? The chance to see the band perform live.

Lucky for Dallas fans, the band's announced a tour date in Dallas on Thursday, November 10, at Palladium Ballroom. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster outlets for $46.53 after fees.

In other show announcements news, Nashville's The Civil Wars, although not as established as Modest Mouse, will be playing House Of Blues on Saturday January 21. It's a definite size upgrade from their last show here at Texas Theatre, but they expect a sellout crowd nonetheless.
