Connoisseurs of commercial hip-hop, pseudo-soul and top-40 R&B have a full dance card this weekend. On Friday night, Def Jam Records' Ne-Yo will take a break from working with the likes of Beyoncé and Britney Spears to bathe in an ocean of shiny shirts and fluorescent bleached teeth at Purgatory. Will the platinum hit-maker perform? Will he spin popular chart-toppers like "So Sick"? Will he be cloistered away in some VIP corner with a drink in one hand and an emaciated girl on each knee? The only thing standing between you and the answers is an excruciatingly long line of people waiting to get into the club.

The following evening, K104's annual Summer Jam commences with possibly its hugest lineup yet. Yung Joc (not to be confused with tourmate Young Dro) and Chingy (not to be confused with the delicious chimichanga) will drop the snap from hurr to thurr. Boy band survivor Omarion will undoubtedly whip the ladies into a feverish frenzy. Memphis longtimers Eightball & MJG also represent, as do milkshake-lovin' Kelis and G-Unit-lovin' Lloyd Banks. Show up early for the stylings of everyone's favorite umbrella aficionado, Fonzworth Bentley, and keep a sharp eye for "special guest" Kanye West.
