If you've been to the Double Wide in the past week or so, you've probably seen a much bigger version of this above image hanging in a couple different spots throughout the bar and venue. It's an eye-catching design, to say the least, even if it relies perhaps too heavily on some classic poster ideology.

But, hey, that's OK: Copping some of the old touchstones once upon a time so prevalent in the boxing and wrestling world, while an old trick, is still a nice trick nonetheless. In this case, it gets a bit of a boost: The headlining act for this show, after all, is the iconic punk rock stalwart The Dwarves -- and dwarf wrestling indeed has something of a storied past.

This poster capitalizes on as much and it does so well, using two dwarf wrestlers as its main images and surrounding it in an otherwise text-heavy design that, aside from getting all the pertinent information out there, is pleasing to the eye as part of the overall aesthetic of this piece to boot.

Nice stuff. See you dudes tonight at the show? Hope so.

Think your poster is better than this one? Want to see one of your designs get honored next week? Drop us an email with an image promoting an upcoming show right here. Cool? Cool. Thanks!
