Nothing goes together quite like country music and rodeo action. So with Dwight Yoakam coming to North Texas in February, what better place to perform than the Resistol Arena, home to the Mesquite Rodeo?
The country legend hasn't released anything since 2007's tribute to Buck Owens, but that isn't stopping him from touring. And if our sister paper the Houston Press is to be believed, he still puts on a great show. In fact, his November 21 show in Houston was so impressive it took not one but two reviews to adequately describe its greatness.
Catch him Friday, February 5. Doors are at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets ($15-$60) go on sale Saturday, January 9 through TicketMaster and the venue.
