As Black Dotz shows are getting, according to singer Wanz Dover, "fewer and farther between," you'd be wise to catch this great local triple bill. If you happened upon the phenomenal Ronald Shannon Jackson show at the Kessler a couple weekends ago, you caught Dotz guitarist Greg Prickett lending his skill to the quintet's set, but in this band he plays a little harder and faster, mixing their punk and soul in equal doses. New Fumes continues his one-man parade of sound and fury, in a rare moment home from touring, and Denton's Peopleodian make for some must-see TV.
