Blame It On Gravity art by Jayme Nourallah.
In a blatant move to one-up Dust Congress, the Old 97's guys scored an in-studio performance (which you can download by following that link) at the NPR affiliate at St. Paul, Minnesota, where they talked New West Records, admitted to rarely rehearsing and performed three tracks from Blame It On Gravity.
Meanwhile, in other Old 97's-related news, if you're digging Blame It On Gravity's cover art and you've been wondering if you can get your hands of a sweet, large-scale copy of it, well, you're in luck. The artist behind the cover art, Jayme Nourallah (wife of Gravity producer Salim), will be hosting a 10-day auction for the 24-inch by 48-inch original acrylic painting on eBay starting a week from today. So, go get on your bidding shoes. --Pete Freedman
