Looks like our friends at You+Dallas (by which we mean our co-workers moonlighting at other outlets) have gone ahead and filed another clip of their "Downbeat Dallas" web series, which they've already used to feature Sarah Jaffe and Doug Burr. This episode features Seryn, whose long-awaited debut just recently saw its release date pushed back again, this time all the way to January of 2011. it's still worth looking forward to, though: The band's inspiring, anthemic folk rock is easy to embrace.

In the video, band members Trenton Wheeler and Chelsea Bohrer talk a little bit about the band's history and its aim ("We want people to know hope," Wheeler says) over performance clips shot at Sons of Hermann Hall. Also: Bohrer says the band's name, which settles at least one recent bar argument I had with someone about how to pronounce Seryn. So there's that.

Anyway, give it a watch after the jump.
