This is not your everyday Bilboard chart. Each week, we'll tell you what bands are selling in the fine record shops in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, where we consumers of music have impeccable taste.

This week's sales at CD Source reflect some of Dallas' upcoming shows: P!nk's Truth About Love Tour will be in town on February 22nd. A$AP Rocky and Rihanna made it in the top ten blend as well and will be touring together this April in Dallas.

There was little common ground at CD Source and Good Records this week other than Yo la Tengo's recent release. Mark Church, sales associate at Good Records, was expecting a strong performance. "Yo La Tengo are long time favorites of the indie world and keep a consistent level of quality, which explains them being at the top of the list," he says.

John Coltrane was one of this week's more unusual chart inclusion. "[That's] the one surprise on the list, and not because it's not good but because it is a classic older release," says Church. "This gives me hope for the future of vinyl."

Tame Impala's psychedelic melodious rock also made some headway last week at Good Records. "Tame Impala, I think are one of those bands that spread word of mouth so their stuff sells pretty consistently," says Church.
