Andy's Dick: Trees Patron Sues Comic, Club Six Months Later For "Offensive Physical Contact"
The incident that led to a lawsuit. The whole video's after the jump.
From the looks of the video on the other side, I'm surprised the whole audience at Trees didn't sue following Andy Dick's "performance" on December 19. But, no, it's just the one guy: Robert Tucker, who says he didn't much appreciate it when the former star of NewsRadio "forced his genitals against the left side of Plaintiff's head."
Courthouse News directs our attention this morning to a suit filed Tuesday in Dallas County District Court, in which Tucker's taking on not only Dick, but also United Talent Agency and the club, claiming, among other things, "offensive physical contact," "intentional infliction of emotional distress" and "defamation by conduct." Here's how Tucker's personal-injury attorney, Christoper Coats of The Moore Law Firm (where they "Strike Fast, Hit Hard"), says it all went down:
As Andy Dick walked through the audience, he approached where Plaintiff was seated, and Plaintiff asked Andy Dick for his autograph. Andy Dick told Plaintiff to "hold on a minute" and pulled a barstool next to Plaintiff. Andy Dick then grabbed Plaintiff's head and shoulders to raise himself on top of the barstool. Andy Dick then took control of Plaintiff's head with his left hand and pulled down his costume skirt with his right hand, exposing the fact that he was not wearing underwear beneath the skirt. Defendant Dick then, while still controlling Plaintiff's head wth his hand forced his genitals against the left side of Plaintiff's dace. Plaintiff immediately pulled away. Andy Dick returned to the state with the help of Defendant's employees.
But why read it when you can watch it for yourself after the jump. A couple of months back someone posted eight minutes' of crystal-clear footage from the show, and The Incident begins to unfold at around the three-minute mark. Looks like it was well-documented too. Of course, Dick's attorney always has a good defense: "Your Honor, my client's a mess."
