December 6 -- that's when Dallas Area Rapid Transit officials said the Green Line would be good to go with the completion of the final two sections of the "20-station, 28-mile, $1.8 billion project" (catchy!). The two sections left: MLK Jr. Station to Buckner Station in Pleasant Grove, and Victory Station to North Carrollton.

Also, per the DART release: "In addition to the Green Line, DART will open Lake Highlands Station on the Blue Line between White Rock and LBJ/Skillman stations in December."

Just don't ask about the second downtown light rail line. Or, ya know, anything else. For a while.

Update: After the jump, in two parts, video from Thursday's presentation.
