I've been regretting all day we didn't have a warm body to spare to send to the ribbon-cutting of The People's Hotel, aka the downtown Omni. Then this arrived, courtesy the good folks at Weber Shandwick: Larry Hagman and Linda Gray -- in town shooting Dallas, of course -- joining Mayor Mike Rawlings and former Mayor Tom Leppert for the ceremonial snip. And then I felt a whole lot better. I'd say: "Caption contest!" But you don't need me for that. Anyone who wants the ginormous version for their desktops, email me. I can't stop staring at the thing.
