Kwame Kilpatrick Back in April, then-embattled Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick spent a weekend at The Potter's House of Dallas, meeting with Bishop T.D. Jakes for some spiritual "enriching." A lot has happened since then, including Kilpatrick's copping to a few felony charges; thus, a 120-day jail sentence due to begin October 28. So how does Kilpatrick, who yesterday officially ended his tenure as that city's youngest mayor, spend his down time before heading off to the joint? By bringing the wife and kids back to Dallas, almost moments after a judge lifted travel restrictions that had limited Kilpatrick to travel within the Detroit area. Perhaps he too will be visiting the Nasher Sculpture Center, always a recommended hot spot for visitors looking for their D Spot. --Robert Wilonsky
