Leppert and Mayor Ji Jianye of Nanjing also signed a Friendship Agreement, after which the mayor handed him a Dallas Mavericks jersey -- which, says Chris Heinbaugh's press release, "has proven to be a popular gift with Chinese officials"; South Korean too. (So happens the Mavs have a warehouse full of Wang Zhizhi jerseys and are more than happy to get rid of 'em.)
