A Friend of Unfair Park and M.O.T. forwards us this link to tomorrow's big auction at the VFW Hall on S. Smith Street, off Walton Walker. Looks like Randall Hill Auctions, based in La Coste, is selling off some 1,000 pieces of World War II memorabilia -- including, oh, pistols and medals and bayonets and yellowed newspapers announcing the end of the war. But there's a heck of a lot of Hitler in them there items too, including this small bust of Adolf Hitler's head and an autographed copy of Mein Kampf and this bronze statue. And sure to be a hit this holiday season is this life-sized carved head of Hitler the materials claim was "used for making castings to be used in government offices and public buildings." Um ... Happy Hanukkah? --Robert Wilonsky
