Sure. It's a Liverpool FC Thing. But There's Something About How Hicks Holds a Bat ...
Dallas Cowboy by Kit Nelson
Yesterday -- which is to say, shortly before The Dallas Morning News ran this
press release fromprofile of Tom Hicks -- Friend of Unfair Park PeterK directed our attention to the Facebook page Liverpool FC Is Being Bled Dry - You Can Do Something About It. There I found, among other things, 5,436 people who really can't stand Hicks; a trailer for what appears to be a documentary about Hicks and George Gillett's troubled tenure as owners of the Reds; and 47 pieces of artwork, some suitable for framing, expressing fans' righteous indignation.
The one at right is by Kit Nelson, the Reds supporter who's responsible for such other classics as Grand Theft Anfield and Held to Ransom. Since it was posted a few days ago, it has become the defining artwork for the Save Liverpool FC movement.
