Tony Romo Is, Indeed, a Role Model
Tony Romo needs a nickname -- something like Mother Teresa, only more ... manly. Because just two months after the Dallas Cowboys' QB stopped to help a couple fix their flat -- only hours after getting 13 stitches in his chin following the Browns game -- today The Dallas Morning News' Cowboys Blog brings news of his latest random act of kindness. Seems Tony bought a homeless man named Doc a ticket to the movies, then invited Doc to sit with him. Best part: They went to see Role Models. (As an aside, while some of the News comments are pretty genius -- as in, "I know a Marine who just got back from Iraq who said that a Tony Romo rookie card in his front pocket stopped a bullet" -- I simply don't understand how it turned into a David Carr debate.) --Robert Wilonsky
