Track How the Dallas Independent School District's Spending That '08 Bond Money
The "replacement" W.H. Adamson High School
A good Friend of Unfair Park (OK, my next-door-neighbor and fellow DISD parent) directs our attention to yesterday's announcement heralding the launch of this website, which allows you to see how the Dallas Independent School District's doling out the $1.35 billion approved for the 2008 bond program. Says the man who may or may not be Dallas Independent School District Superintendent after tomorrow, "The new bond program Web site equips us to demonstrate to members of our community that their 2008 Bond Program dollars are being spent wisely and efficiently. This site is another example of our commitment to use every method at our disposal to communicate with the community that made this bond program a reality." As always, I'm just in it for the pictures.
