Wild, Wild Northwest: In My Neighborhood, the DPD's Fightin' Crime Like it's 1883.
Word around my Northwest Dallas neighborhood is that home burglaries have become troublingly common in recent days, as police officers have ID'd men between 15 and 22 who've been known to knock on the front door before breaking down the back door. Just the other day, a neighbor reported two men trying to steal bikes out of the garage -- while my neighbor was cleaning out the garage, great. Hence, the posse you see pictured above in a photo taken, oh, 'bout an hour ago just one block from the house. If nothing else, a treat for the kids.
