Count on me being out at the State Fair tomorrow. If you have any rotten fruit laying around, come visit me during my 5-7 p.m. appearance on Live 105.3’s Dan O’Malley Show.

Count on Tony Romo being in the Cowboys' lineup Sunday in St. Louis.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says it’s “very likely” that the quarterback and his fractured finger will play against the Rams. Out at practice today at Valley Ranch it was Brad Johnson taking all the first-team snaps, but no way Romo's missing this game. He may not start, but I expect him to play. Don't you?

Apparently, Romo’s four-game injury was actually a four-day injury. Even if he does play, lots of changes for Dallas this week.

Two Roy Williamses. One less Pacman. A new punter. No Felix Jones. Two backups starting at cornerback. An already-sorry-ass special teams that will be further depleted by the losses of Anthony Spencer, Sam Hurd, Pat Watkins and Kevin Burnett.

Luckily, it’s the Rams.

If Romo and his saggy shoulders can play, he should play. Even down a digit he’ll be better than Checkdown Johnson. Plus, how can he not want to try out his new toys?

Sure, the Cowboys overpaid to get Williams . But, on the other hand, they wouldn’t be able to find a receiver like him in next April’s draft. And with the sudden, drastic demise of Terrell Owens – he can now be checked by Rod Hood and he hasn’t been Dallas’ leading receiver in any game this season – the trade makes perfect sense.

As does, considering Dallas’ injuries and the Rams’ momentum from last week’s upset of Washington, picking St. Louis. That’s exactly why – thanks to my undefeated Constanza Contrarian Theory – I’m taking the Cowboys minus the 6 ½.

I started with a mythical bankroll of $10,000, courtesy of Bodog sports online gaming. First of all, because their site is easy to navigate. Second, because they’re based in Costa Rica and have had minimal success tracking me down in the past.

I’ll analyze games/wagers of local interest each weekend and make a wager or two every Friday. With any luck, by Christmas it’ll be toys for everyone.

STARTING BANKROLL: $10,000 CURRENT BANKROLL: $4,000 SEASON RECORD: 2-5 LAST WEEK: 1-0 (+ $1,100) THIS WEEK: Cowboys -6 ½ for 1,000 -- Richie Whitt
