Meet Ron White, the Texas-Born Memory Champ You’ll Never Forget

Ron White knew hed need mental toughness to outdo his competitors at the USA Memory Championship, so he took his training regimen for memorizing the order of a deck of cards underwater.

Chester Santos, the 2008 U.S. memory champion, stumbled in his 2009 return match against White when Santos confused sushi with ravioli after he was asked to name a strangers favorite food during the contests tough Tea Party round. I didnt feel bad
losing to him because he really put in the time, and he deserved it, Santos says of White.

A razor-keen memory isnt just a hobby for White; its also his business. The 2009 U.S. memory champ leads a seminar on how memory training can help sales people boost performance.
