One of our finest watering holes bears his infamous name. And while the great Homer Henderson's "Lee Harvey Was a Friend of Mine" never ascended the pop charts, its clever chorus--"Lee Harvey was a friend of mine/He used to take me fishing all the time/He used to throw the ball to me when I was just a kid/They say he shot the president but I don't think he did"--nevertheless ingrained itself in the minds of those that heard it for years after.
