Long a staple of the Deep Ellum music scene,
Club Dada now sits empty as the rest of its Elm Street neighbors build up around it.

Recent Club Dada

Valerie Baker, Ben Tapia
and Amanda Warr
each blame Dadas
demise on different things.
For Baker,
its her own inexperience.
For Tapia and Warr,
its a lack of support from
the local music scene.

Id just spent
15 years in suburbia,
and I was very bored.
I went into it so blindly.
But, hey,
I was having fun.

a Dada curse as much
as theres a
city of Dallas curse.
