In 1995, Clarence Peterson, then 73, and Victoria Steve, then 25, were married in Seattle. When he died two years later, it sparked a legal battle over his estate.

Conner Russell, now 97, in his East Dallas home with a photo of himself as a younger man. In 2006, he was
approached at a Luby's by Victoria Peterson, complaining she had a toothache. Russell's family says he gave her nearly $500,000 over four years.

Peterson's book-in photo from July 2010, after she was charged with theft for deceiving 78-year-old Wylie Cathey into buying her a TV and a mattress. She's out on bond today, while the case remains pending.

Russell lives at home today with a full-time caretaker. They get mysterious phone calls at his home nearly every day,
with nobody speaking on the other end of the line. His caretaker is sure it's Peterson, checking if Russell is still alive.
