The last time violinist Daniel Hart headlined in town, he led his three backing players through a 30-minute, six-song set of melodic pop. It happened in a blink, but during that short time the music was deliberate and powerful. It burned hot, then it burned out. Such is the tendency of a performer whose career exists between the tours and studio sessions of more well-known acts. Hart has performed with Broken Social Scene, St. Vincent, Polyphonic Spree and, in March, he'll be opening for Radiohead in Dallas with Oklahoma act The Other Lives.
