Quentis Roper, pictured in court, can't believe that investigators took the word of drug dealers, illegal aliens, and prostitutes over one of Dallas' finest. He blames his former partner, disgraced cop Danny Maples.

Danny Maples turned himself--and $49,000 cash--in to police investigators. He is now cooperating with federal authorities looking into alleged DPD corruption.

Dallas police Chief Terrell Bolton apparently believed the Dallas County District Attorney's public integrity unit, which investigated Maples and Roper,

was racially prejudiced.
