We wouldn't have believed it three months ago, but 92.5 KZPS's recent format change has actually turned us back into occasional FM radio listeners. Save for the overabundance of Stevie Ray Vaughan, George Thorogood and Steve Miller on the station's playlists—seriously, if we hear "Pride and Joy," "Bad to the Bone," or "Fly Like An Eagle" one more time, we're gonna impale ourselves on our radio antenna and mail our ears to Redbeard—its refreshing mix of classic rock (Tom Petty, CCR, Bruce Springsteen), outlaw country (Waylon and Willie and the Boys) and alternative twang (Uncle Tupelo, Slobberbone) is the best thing to happen to Dallas radio in many, many moons.
