There were always the kids that had a bit of nerd in them. They had more books than your mom, and you could see them coming a mile away with their shiny "Library Aide" badges. Now when I say "they," what I really mean is "me." It's true--I’d pick a book over a game of ball every time. I secretly hoped that one day I would accidentally get locked into the library overnight (that, or a mall food court...). No filling out little slips of paper just to look at a reference book--I'd take a nap on the encyclopedias if I wanted!
