The Dwaine Caraway Show

It's a little after 8 a.m. on February 14, and already Dallas Deputy Mayor Pro Tem/District 4 City Council Representative Dwaine Caraway is knee-deep in saggy pants and homophobia.... More >>>

On March 23, Councilman Caraway surveyed some damage done in his district; in this instance, it was an arson committed by a person who has been given the street name "The Carsonist."

Caraway, who believes in working his district from the ground up, ceremoniously breaks ground on March 25 for a East Oak Cliff housing project.

Before his win last summer, Caraway was in danger of becoming a perennial also-ran. It was his fourth attempt at a council seat in a decade.

Michael Davis, Caraway's city plan commission appointee and political "Man Friday," says that Caraway's focus may be small, but he is all businessnot all Hollywood.
