Saturday 6.2 Tourceratops -- NewMovement Comedy is a staple in Austin, Houston and New Orleans primarily dedicated to sketch and improv comedy troupes and classes. The best performers of all three locations are in town for one night, chumming the waters of Dallas Comedy House at 8 p.m.
Of Other Spaces Opens at the MAC -- The McKinney Avenue Contemporary offers the art trifecta: solid curation, frequently changing exhibitions and killer opening parties. You won't want to miss this new, collaborative show; it promises to take you to places your artistic GPS has never before located. Paula Poundstone -- If you like cats, politics and vests this is the show for you.
Legally Blonde the Musical -- The girliest movie in history is also the girliest piece of musical theater. Leave the dudes at home -- all of 'em -- and snag your gal pals for this one.
Sunday 6.3 All About my Mother with FREE TAPAS! -- It's high time someone started up a good Spanish cinema series in Dallas and it's no surprise that it's happening at Texas Theatre. Titled the Petra Negra Film Session, the monthly event features a tapas component, and this Sunday only those tapas are FREE! Add on that the first showing of the series is the Pedro Almodóvar flick All About my Mother and this one's a no-brainer.
