Are the memories of your high school prom a little hazy at this point? Have a do-over! Reading & Radio Resource is hosting Prom Night 2011 at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Starlight Room, 603 Munger Ave., and the theme is "A John Hughes Experience," which means you can wear that Pretty in Pink number one more time. Money raised will go toward providing audio recordings for those who can't read due to loss of vision, dyslexia or physical impairments. And, unlike your lame high school prom, this one will include drinks, dinner, a silent auction and charity poker. Plus, the dancing will be a lot less awkward. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased at readingresource.org, where you can also buy wrist corsages, boutonnieres and sponsorships. For more information, call 214-871-7668.
