I don't know about you, but nothing screams comedy to me more than a 7-foot-1-inch, 325-pound basketball player. Whether he was joking or not, Shaq's performance in Kazaam certainly left me laughing...at him, not with him. This time, having probably thought better of it himself, he is leaving the comedy up to the professionals and just playing host to the All-Star Comedy Jam at the NOKIA Theatre in Grand Prairie over the NBA All-Star weekend. Originally set to be a one-night only event on Friday, a second show has been added at 8 p.m. Thursday to satisfy the demands of those who love hoops and laughter. Thursday's show will feature Kevin Hart, Deray Davis, Mike Epps, Bruce Bruce and more, while Friday's show features the talents of Oscar nominee Mo'Nique, George Willborn and Paul Mooney, among others. Fingers crossed they'll bring their A-game since the whole event will be taped for Showtime. If not, perhaps he'll reprise his role as Kazaam...one can only hope. Either possibility certainly provides promise for an entertaining evening. Tickets for both shows are $59.50 to $125. Call 1-800-745-3000 or visit ticketmaster.com.
