Bald uncles with working mouth bulbs, surly children and a questionable plunging neckline. This can mean only one thing: The Addams Family is descending upon Dallas in all its oddball glory. In this chapter in the Addams story, we find Wednesday’s cold, black heart melting for a normal boy. Yep, a normal. Anyway, he’s proposed, and she’s not sure. She thinks she loves him, but she needs her parents to meet his. Gulp. Things are about to get weird in the Addams house — well, weird for them, which is normal for us — and you’re invited to watch it all unfold. The cast is coming all the way from Broadway so you know they mean business. Fantastic costumes, big musical numbers and just enough laughter to annoy the people next to you. (I’m looking at you, hyena twin.) See the show at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Music Hall in Fair Park. Tickets range from $15 to $80 and are on sale now at dallassummermusicals.org.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Oct. 2. Continues through Oct. 21, 2012
