Here at the Dallas Observer Arts and Culture section, we are proud, sort of, we guess, to announce Another Former Bachelor Contestant Hosts A Thing And You Can Go If You Want.

It’s art and culture, baby.

For this edition, Dallas guy and a former Bachelor himself Sean Lowe and his other half Catherine Lowe are hosting the event, which is from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight at Belk Galleria Dallas. It’s at Belk because it has to do with fashion and because The Bachelor and fashion go hand-in-hand.

“The Belk Fall Fashion Preview is a great event that will highlight this fall’s fashion trends,” Sean Lowe tells us in an email. “As a guy, I need this event because fashion isn’t exactly in my wheelhouse. Catherine on the other hand is a fashion expert, so I know she’s really looking forward to the show.”

Oh, don’t be so hard on yourself, Sean. We won’t be there to hear you talk fashion. We’ll be there to ask you all the annoying married-life questions. So, let’s get started.

How is married life in Dallas treating y’all?
“Married life in Dallas is great. When we’re not traveling (which is often), we enjoy spending most of our time relaxing at home with our two dogs Lola and Ellie.”

Where do y’all go for date nights?
“The great thing about Dallas is how many great restaurants there are in the city, so we like to try new places each date night. However, our go-to spot would probably be Blue Fish on Greenville Avenue.”

And are y’all watching Bachelor in Paradise? Thoughts?
“Bachelor in Paradise might be even crazier than The Bachelor. The franchise definitely knows how to create drama-filled show, which seem to pull viewers in each week.”

What keeps y’all busy? How is blogging, Sean? He blogs. You can read his opinions on all things everything here.
“We travel a ton so that keeps us busy and on top of that we are both trying to maintain and grow our business endeavors in Dallas (Sean- real estate development and Catherine- design). Blogging has been surprisingly enjoyable for me. It’s been a fun creative outlet that allows me to shine light on the things I care about.”

The event tonight is open to the public and former Bachelor Jake Pavelka will also be there, along with TV host Amy Vanderoef.
