Once you have an "Elegant Dinner on the Titanic" at a grocery store, you'll never let go, Jack. Never let go. Because you can be blase about some things, Rose, but not about the Titanic and the re-creation of a first-class meal thereon. Wait for absolution at Central Market, where Chef Sandy Trussell will serve Titanic tasties like oysters a la Russe, cream of barley soup and peaches in Chartreuse jelly. Presumably the Elegant Dinner on the Titanic will also be decorated with Picasso paintings, which your high-class fiance dismisses as "finger paintings" because he doesn't understand that in them, there is truth but no logic. And look out if you see an inappropriately handsome broke dude toting around paper and charcoal, unless you sincerely believe that the last thing you need is another portrait of you looking like a porcelain doll. Because that guy will sketch the first poor little rich girl who doesn't know anything about misery that he sees. The Titanic cooking school class and dinner is this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Market in Fort Worth, 4651 W. Freeway. Enroll for $60. If it sucks, don't blame us. Write a strongly worded letter to the White Star Line. Call 817-989-4700.
