Sundays are typically ho-hum, but this Sunday will be anything but. Especially if the Texas Association of Magicians has anything to say about it — and they do. They just say it with smoke poofs and sleight of hand. They’ll be holding their annual convention at Intercontinental Hotel Dallas in Addison and the day will burst at the satin shirt with things to do. First up will be vendors hawking their magic-related wares, followed by lectures, pro close-ups and an evening show. But let’s back up a beat to the lectures because one will be offered by THE Harry T. Stone. (Roz and Bull had other plans.) That’s right, Harry Anderson from TV’s Night Court will be lecturing on his two passions — gavels and fedoras. Juuust kidding — comedy and magic!!! Single-day passes are $100 and tickets to the evening show are $20. Learn more at taom2013.com. The convention runs from Friday through Monday.
