Even though Chinese New Year started a couple of weeks ago, don't worry--there's still time to party like it's 4708. Chinese New Year is traditionally a 15 day long celebration that lasts until the first full moon of the new year, so if you haven't had your fill of sweet treats and family fun, head down to The Crow Collection of Asian Art (2010 Flora Street) for one last night of celebration for the Year of the Rabbit. Featuring musical performances, art activities, karaoke and tasty samples of Chinese candies, bubble teas and beers, The Crow Collection After Dark: Year of the Rabbit Celebration will include a glow-in-the-dark dragon dance on Flora Street at 8 p.m. and will last until midnight. The event is free and open to the public. Call 214-979-6430 or crowcollection.org.
Fri., Feb. 18, 8 p.m.-midnight, 2011
