On Saturday, erotic art photographer Larry Hoth offers the chance to view his photos in the raw, so to speak. The exhibition, called The Erotic Female, is free (unlike the pay-per-view site where the photos are usually offered), and it features naked women in concealing and open poses as well as in bondage and dominatrix gear. While Hoth also photographs flowers and shoots fashion photography, he seems to favor nudes and has recently been nominated for Best Adult Artist/Photographer in the Dallas Adult Entertainment Awards to be held this week at Blue. Boasting a style all his own, Hoth attempts to capture a moment when both he and the model are acting in unison. Saturday's event promises wine and edibles for the taste sensations and nude and erotic photography for the visual appetite. Those who RSVP for the event on Hoth's Web site, www.hothpix.com, will also be entered in a drawing for a signed erotic print or membership to www.HothErotica.com, the aforementioned pay site. The exhibition and reception are 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at RCD Studios, 3122 Swiss Ave. Call 214-476-1570. --David Wilson

From boss and secretary to mother and father, everyone and his/her dog (literally) has a designated day of appreciation. You know, just a little "Hey, thanks" in a universal sense. At Blue on Tuesday, it's time to give that "Hey, thanks" to all the adult entertainers who have pretended to like us over the past year. Local celebs (i.e., some radio people) will be on hand from 9 p.m. to present awards for performers, clubs, publications and theaters across the metroplex. For those still undecided on whether to show some love: Yes, there will be hors d'oeuvres. Blue is at 1933 Elm St. Call 214-880-0888. --Matt Hursh
