Kicking off a U.S. tour, Irish tenor Paul Byrom will perform Wednesday night on the Voodoo Stage at House of Blues, 2200 N. Lamar St.. Former lead tenor with the group Celtic Thunder, a favorite of PBS watchers everywhere, Byrom's solo career included release of the album This Is the Moment, which charted at No. 1 on Billboard World Music and Amazon charts. His newest release, Thinking of Home dropped this week and is dedicated to his two homes, Ireland and New York City, and includes traditional Irish tunes and new music dedicated to New York. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts 8 p.m. Tickets are $29 general admission and $34 at the door. They're available here.
