Waxahachie-lovin’, tattooed-armin’, memory-jug makin’, pecan-pie-bakin’ Bruce Lee Webb is made the drive to Dallas with a specific purpose: He’s showing off those oddly captivating idea babies lodged inside his brain. His artwork kicks off the 2013 season of Art with a View at The Belmont and since the details are hush-hush on this one, you’ll just have to pop in for yourself. There’s literally no way you’ll be disappointed. I’ve crunched the numbers and it’s scientifically impossible. Art with a View is a fantastic concept started by the Belmont, which trades in played-out landscapes typically found in hotel lobbies for incredible pieces from local artists, and Bruce’s work is no exception. In the past his pieces have featured the abstract faces of your nightmares complete with tiny teeth. The show went up in mid-January at The Belmont, 901 Fort Worth Ave., and the runs until March 5.
