We just found out our favorite waitress in Pushing Daises and Good Witch of the North in Wicked is coming to town, but it's not to film scenes for the 2012 midseason ABC series Good Christian Belles. Chenoweth, best known for belting out tunes on Broadway, is set to speak on November 15 at the Nasher as part of the 2011 NasherSALON Speaker Series.

The series kicked off with poet Maya Angelou appearing in January, and it continues with an appearance by Kevin Bacon on September 8, which sold out quickly. So you might want to get your tickets the day they go on sale (October 4) if you want to participate in an intimate discussion with Ms. Chenoweth.

Oh, and if you planned on seeing Bernadette Peters on October 13, you might want to make other plans for that night as that SALON discussion has been canceled due to a Broadway conflict. Read the press release from the Nasher after the jump.
