Looking for a mental vacation? Sunday is the last day to catch Impressions of Europe: 19th Century Vistas at SMU’s Meadows Museum (5900 Bishop Blvd.), a collection of works by Spanish painter Martín Rico. He was known for capturing the landscape of 19th century Europe in vivid colors, heralding an era of realism, and his paintings of Venice are especially striking. Meadows Museum is presenting more than 100 of his works, which show the arc of his career. Museum hours on Sunday are 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors 65 and over, $4 for students. Call 214-768-2516 or visit meadowsmuseumdallas.org for more info.
