Everyone’s telling you that you need to lighten up a little. If you need some help getting on the enlightened roadway, we have just the thing for you. Together with the Dallas Arts District, the Nasher Sculpture Center and the Dallas Yoga Center, the Crow Collection of Asian Art is wrapping up Art in October with an EnLIGHTened Evening: Diwali, an event celebrating the festival of lights observed by Hindus, Jains and Sikhs worldwide. It’ll be an evening of dance, meditation and other activities, so grab the friends and family and light it up with an EnLIGHTened Evening: Diwali from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday at the Crow Collection of Asian Art, 2010 Flora St. The event is free to the public. Call 214-979-6430 or visit crowcollection.org.
