Wit and intelligence are a couple of characteristics that many claim to have, or at least wish they possessed. Novelist Christopher Moore seems to have been granted the shares of both prized traits that boorish dolts lack. Moore is promoting his latest work, Sacre Bleu, in which the death of Vincent Van Gogh is investigated in a manner that’ll appeal to fans of a great whodunit, or even Law & Order Criminal Intent. The plot is a bit absurd and giving such a death a detective-style treatment would be a reach for other scribes, but for the Ohio-native Moore, it would’ve been odd to not go in an odd direction. Moore will discuss his new book as a part of the Dallas Museum of Art’s Arts & Letters Live at 7:30 p.m. April 10 in the Horchow Auditorium. Visit dallasmuseumofart.org for more information.
