A few decades ago, the cat dragged in a bunch of long-haired, outrageously dressed, glam-rock leftovers and coughed them up onto the carpet. Twenty years later, "Talk Dirty to Me" is still as fun as it ever was, and Poison is going on tour to make sure you remember that. Taking the road with fellow Pennsylvanian hair-metallers Cinderella, Poison's aging foursome will be rocking Fair Park this Friday, giving former fans another opportunity to Open Up and Say...Ahh! Singer Bret Michaels joins guitarist (with the voice of a glass-eating angel) C.C. DeVille, bassist Bobby Dall and drummer (with the best name ever) Rikki Rockett. Together, they're touring the States celebrating 20 years of cheating death, despite their most valiant attempts to die via drug overdose and sexually transmitted disease. As for Cinderella, it was only in writing this article that I realized everything I remembered about the band was actually stuff about Poison that I had mixed up in my memory. Whatever. I still think "Nobody's Fool" kicks ass. Poison and Cinderella perform live 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Smirnoff Music Centre, 1818 First Ave. Tickets range from $18.75 to $58.75. Call 214-421-1111.
