Move over Big Apple. Big D is hot to trot, ready to trend and putting its best fashion foot forward. It’s time for the sizzling south lands of Texas to teach you a thing or two about what’s hot and not in the world of fine design when SMU hosts its very own Fashion Week live on campus. Open to students and the public, the event will offer everything from a professional panel featuring former F/D Luxe editor and current creative director of the Neiman Marcus book Tracy Achor Hayes and Dallas style blogger Tina Craig to an annual Retail Club Fashion Show featuring SMU themes. And don’t forget to check out the on-campus trunk shows, Vintage Mobile and opening party at Tootsies, beauty demos and goody bags included. Fashion Week takes place March 26-30 on the SMU campus, 6101 Bishop Blvd. The launch party will be held Monday at Tootsies, 8300 Preston Road. Admission to all events is free.
