Those who might have been avoiding the Dallas theater scene because it's too talky or Sam Shepard-y, Level Ground Arts presents a play to draw in the skeptics of the stage (or anyone who snoozes in the back after one martini): A Samurai Nosferatu. That's right; it's real. All you have to do is show up on Fridays and Saturdays somewhere between now and October 29 at KD Studios Theatre, and you'll be treated to the "classic story of Dracula told with samurai swords." The play, directed by Bill Fountain, promises plenty of Kabuki dancing as well. If you're still unsure, may we re-mention the fact that vampires will be carrying a bunch of swords? Yeah, come on, you're going. Tickets are $20 for general admission, which can be paid for online (levelgroundarts.com) or over the phone at 214-630-5491. Shows start at 8:15 p.m.
Fridays, Saturdays, 8:15 p.m. Starts: Oct. 14. Continues through Oct. 29, 2011
