But just because the stories will stop being told in the first person doesn't mean that they will stop being told. That's a good thing. Sharing stories leads to awareness. Each year, the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance presents an educational event on Yom Hashoah, aka Holocaust Remembrance Day. This year's lecture is "The Holocaust: Does it Defy Words." The Yom Hashoah event takes place at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Temple Emanu-El, 8500 Hillcrest Road. Admission is free.
