Hey, it's happened to everyone at one time or another. Nothing to be embarrassed about. But consider this: In preparation for the next time you need to do the ol' "hide the body before hubby gets home," make sure you've seen Agatha Christie's Spider's Web. In it, you'll find tips on how to react when you discover a corpse (you didn't think I meant an actual dead--like d-e-a-d--body, did you, dirty bird?) in the drawing room. You'll even find out what a drawing room is, just in case your new construction doesn't feature such old-fashioned settings. You'll also discover help on playing a key role in a murder mystery/farce, just in case your situation includes hiding said corpse before hubby returns with a foreign dignitary in tow. Learn how to lie on the spot to people in front of you, while imagining that there's an entire "invisible" audience watching your every move. And finally, be prepared for what should occur if your lies amount to new discoveries and surprises left and right. Leave it to Christie...and the Richardson Theatre Centre as they present Spider's Web Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through September 13 at 2701 N. Custer Parkway in Richardson. Call 972-699-1130 or visit richardsontheatre.com.
Fridays-Sundays. Starts: Sept. 4. Continues through Sept. 13, 2009
